Alexandra Township has had a Chamber of Commerce established since 1969, which represents local business people and aspiring entrepreneurs. It is now known as the Greater Alexandra Chamber of Commerce and Industries (GALXCOC). It is one of the longest existing Chambers of Commerce representing black people in South Africa, and over the years it has gone through various periods of successes and failures as each leadership emerges.
Everyone can rise above their circumstances and achieve success if they are dedicated to and passionate about what they do.
